Ready to hit the stage? Whether you’re a seasoned performer or brand new to theatre, our one-day Open House is the perfect way to jump in and play. Come meet our amazing Teaching Artists, connect with fellow young actors, and get a sneak peek at the fun in store this fall. You’ll play improv games and explore your creativity in a playful, supportive space. 

*Combine with Open House Musical Theatre from 11 am-12 pm and stay for TWO FREE HOURS. Our Conservatory classes are designed to complement each other, giving students a deeper, more well-rounded training experience.

Level: Beginner to intermediate (no experience necessary)

Whether it’s your first time singing and dancing or you’re ready for a tune-up, this class will give you a little bit of everything. Using upbeat animal songs from Disney shows (The Lion King, Jungle Book, Moana), we’ll work on storytelling through singing and use easy-to-follow choreography to build dynamic performances. Families will be invited to an Open Studio Presentation on the final day of class.   

*Please be sure you can commit to the schedule (especially the final two classes) and communicate any conflicts before registering. 

Double the Fun, One Easy Drop-Off! Combine with our Youth Acting Lab (from 11:30 am-1:00 pm) and stay at NCTC from 10 am-1 pm (with a 10-minute snack break in between). Our Saturday Conservatory acting and musical theatre classes are designed to complement each other, giving students a deeper, more well-rounded training experience. Enroll in both and your child will enjoy three full hours of creative learning—all with just one drop-off and pick-up. It’s the perfect way to build skills, confidence, and stage presence in one exciting morning!

Get ready to create! In this high-energy acting lab, students will explore expressive characters and build imaginary worlds to inhabit. At NCTC, we know collaboration is the name of the game. Through improvisation and group theatre games, our young actors will build confidence, creativity, and teamwork. If you’re ready to explore the world of drama, this class is for you! Welcome to Costume Crafts, a hands-on workshop for creative kids who love to build, design, and play dress-up! From superhero capes and whimsical fairy wings to alien masks and royal crowns, we will dive headfirst into bins of colorful fabric, foam sheets, recycled materials, yarn, and paper crafts. There are no patterns here—we let our imaginations run completely wild! Your child will come home each week with a unique, handmade wearable masterpiece and the confidence to say, "I made that myself!"
