In this acting intensive, students work with a director on scenes and monologues for a Conservatory showcase in December. Learn the essentials of scene work within a supportive ensemble. Build confidence in your solo work with specially chosen monologues and discover audition tips & tricks. This group class is also a great opportunity for students preparing for high school & college auditions!
Guests will be invited to a Conservatory showcase featuring middle and high school students on 12/9 from 12-1pm.
*Attendance is very important for this class and unapproved absences may result in removal from some or all of your roles. Please be sure you can commit to the schedule and the showcase day before registering. (Students must be available from 10 am-1 pm on showcase day.)
*This class is intended to be part one of two. The fall session is open to all. Select advanced students will be invited to join the spring production session (1/6-5/5). Admittance to the spring session (based on experience, maturity, and project chosen) is determined by the Education Director. Learn more about the High School Performance Ensemble and the spring play schedule.
