Students: Ages 12-16 (must have completed 7th grade by camp)

Day/Time: Monday-Friday, 10:00 am-3:00 pm

Dates: June 24-28, 2024 (1 week)

Level: Beginner to intermediate

Description: 

Ready, set, improvise! Unleash your creativity and build confidence at our Drama Olympics, where the stage is your arena and laughter is the ultimate prize. You’ll work with a seasoned Improv coach to showcase your talents in this workshop inspired by the excitement and spirit of the Olympics. Students will hone their improvisation skills in a supportive environment and discover how to make strong choices that further character and situation. Sessions will focus on developing and rehearsing an improv and sketch comedy showcase for invited guests on the final day.

*Scholarships are available! Please complete this form prior to registering. (We cannot apply scholarships retroactively.)

*Grades 7-9: Combine with Teen Summer Ensemble (7/8-20) and join the play, Aladdin’s Adventure.

 

Payment plan available: $100 deposit plus 4 payments of $93.75, paid every two weeks.

Production: Aladdin's Adventure

Students: Ages 11-16, (must have completed 6th grade by camp)

Day/Time: Monday-Friday, 9:30 am- 3:30 pm (2 weeks, no after-care available)

Dates: July 8-July 20, 2024 (Two performances on Saturday, 7/20 @ 11:00 am & 1:00 pm)

Instructors: Stephanie Temple & Will Mattingly

Location: Onsite at NCTC

Level: All levels

Tuition: $925

Description: Students will learn acting skills through group games, character study, and rehearsal techniques--all in a real theater setting. The class culminates in a fully-produced play (with professionally designed costumes and sets).

Discover the magic, mystery, and excitement of Aladdin’s Adventure, a story about a boy who finds a magic lamp and must defeat an evil Magician. Step into the bustling streets of Agrabah and immerse yourself in the vibrant world of this adaptation of 1001 Arabian Nights. The play highlights the timeless themes of friendship, love, and the power of believing in oneself.

*Grades 6-9: Join Musical Theatre Mash-up (June 24-28) and spend a week singing and dancing to Broadway musicals.
