Step into the limelight! In this immersive class, students will create a 20-minute mini-play for family and friends. Here’s your chance to work together on a story, develop your character from start to finish, and learn what it takes to build a performance from page to stage. This is a great way to learn how to work with scripts, take direction, memorize lines, and bond with your fellow actors over the thrill of performance! (Play title is TBD)
*Please be sure you can commit to the schedule and especially the final two classes (dress rehearsal & showcase day) and communicate any conflicts before registering. Unapproved absences may result in removal from some or all performance pieces--the show must go on, after all. Students must be available from 10 am-1 pm on showcase day.
*Students in Grade 5 can combine this class with Theatre Artistry (from 12:00 pm-1:00 pm) and be at NCTC for two consecutive classes from 10:00 am-1:00 pm. More drama = more fun!
Scholarships cannot be applied retroactively, so be sure to WAIT FOR A SCHOLARSHIP CODE BEFORE REGISTERING AND PAYING FOR A CLASS.
