Ready to hit the stage? Whether you’re a seasoned performer or brand new to theatre, our one-day Open House is the perfect way to jump in and play. Come meet our amazing Teaching Artists, connect with fellow young actors, and get a sneak peek at the fun in store this fall. You’ll play improv games and explore your creativity in a playful, supportive space.
*Combine with Open House Musical Theatre from 11 am-12 pm and stay for TWO FREE HOURS. Our Conservatory classes are designed to complement each other, giving students a deeper, more well-rounded training experience.
Open House Musical Theatre

Youth Musical Theatre
with Grace Margaret Craig

Students: Grades 3-5
Day/Time: Saturdays, 10:00 am-11:20 am
Dates: October 18- December 13 (8 classes, no class 11/29)
Showcase Performance on 12/13 at 12 pm
(Students must be available from 10am-1pm on showcase day)

Location: Onsite at NCTC
Level: Beginner to intermediate (no experience necessary)
Tuition: $400
Whether it’s your first time singing and dancing or you’re ready for a tune-up, this class will give you a little bit of everything. Using songs from showbiz musicals such as The Greatest Showman, we’ll work on storytelling through singing and use easy-to-follow choreography to build dynamic performances. Students will perform in an original Conservatory showcase, Make ‘em Laugh on 12/13 from 12-1 pm (featuring scenes and songs from our Acting and Musical Theatre classes).
*Please be sure you can commit to the schedule and especially the final two classes (dress rehearsal & showcase day), and communicate any conflicts before registering. Unapproved absences may result in removal from some or all performance pieces--the show must go on, after all. Students must be available from 10 am-1 pm on showcase day.
Double the Fun, One Easy Drop-Off!
Combine with our Youth Acting Lab (from 11:20 am-1:00 pm) and stay at NCTC from 10:00 am-1:00 pm. Our Saturday Conservatory acting and musical theatre classes are designed to complement each other, giving students a deeper, more well-rounded training experience. Enroll in both and your child will enjoy three full hours of creative learning—all with just one drop-off and pick-up. It’s the perfect way to build skills, confidence, and stage presence in one exciting morning!

Through games, improv, and sketch-style scenes, our budding class clowns will build confidence, timing, and teamwork—all while having an unforgettable time.

Youth Acting Ensemble: Mini-Play

Students: Grades 3-5
Day/Time: Saturdays, 11:00 am-1:00 pm
Dates: January 24- March 21 (8 classes, no class 2/14)

Level: Beginner
Tuition: $475
Step into the limelight! In this immersive class, students will create a 20-minute mini-play—complete with costume pieces, props, and a final performance on a professional stage for family and friends. Here’s your chance to work together on a story, develop your character from start to finish, and learn what it takes to build a performance from page to stage. This is a great way to learn how to work with scripts, take direction, memorize lines, and bond with your fellow actors over the thrill of performance! (Play title is TBD)

Costume Fun!

Put on a hat—become a whole new character! In this imaginative acting class, students will explore through costume pieces and character play. Each week, a new set of costume items—hats, capes, glasses, animal ears, and more—will inspire wild and wonderful characters. Students will discover how costumes change the way we walk, talk, and express ourselves, from sneaky villains to royal queens, goofy sidekicks to wild animals. Through creative movement and storytelling, kids will build confidence, imagination, and performance skills—one fabulous outfit at a time!
